Paje

We made it to Paje,Zanzibar. The beach is equally beautiful and it seems to be kitboarders paradise, there are atleast twenty kites in the sky all day long. We got hena tattoos from the local women, they are amazing and all hand drawn. We spent most if the day on the beach and walking down the beach to a little restaurant right on the water where we met another Canadian couple and had some beers- 500 ml beers,compared to our 350mland had dinner. We walked back right at dusk and just made it home before dark. There are lots of little children here that come to your chair at the beach wanting to sell things or ask for toys and pens. I happened to have some lifesavers so that's what they got. On our way here it was another scary ride as school had just gotten out and I thought we were going to hit half of them. We saw a man biking with his maybe eight month old child in his one hand. Scary. We also drove through the Johanzi forest which has red monkeys and got lucky to see quite a few. We also got our first warmish shower last night!!! It was wonderful, although it is so warm here cold showers really are not so bad. Well time for breakfast on the ocean, it's a tough life.
